Ian Brown’s career in the insurance industry all began after he left University in 1987. Shortly after graduation, he joined an insurance firm called London Life. After a few years there, he moved on to Cosburn Griffith and Brandham, a brokerage firm, in 1989. From there, he worked at places such as CG&B, Lackner McLennan and Fairles Young Brown. 

He then decided to leave Fairles Young Brown and become a partner at Gallivan & Associates Integrated Benefits. While he originally purchased five percent of the business, the following year, he purchased 10 percent and then 50 percent of it shortly thereafter. After deciding that he did not want to be a financial planner, in 1996, he began his specialty in disability insurance. Three years later, Ian took over the group benefits division of his company and added benefit consulting to his complementary specialty of disability insurance.

By January 2004, Ian was the sole shareholder of Gallivan & Associates Integrated Benefits Inc., later changing the corporation’s name to Integratis Benefit Solutions Inc., now more commonly known as The Integratis Group. That same year, he added permanent life insurance to his list of specialties. 

Over the years, Ian has been the top producer of disability insurance in Canada and has been Advisor of the Year at Great-West Life (Southwestern Ontario) numerous times. Outside of work, he is a current member of CALU and MDRT (life), as well as a former member of the Great-West Life’s President Circle and Great-West Life’s Advisory Council. Additionally, he was a long-serving executive member of the Federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, serving on many leadership campaigns and local riding nominations and elections. 

Ian has been married his wife, Allison, for 26 years and has three “extremely cute” boys — Connor, Spencer and Harry. He likes to spend his free time in a hockey arena, and he has been a head coach for his son’s Guelph Ontario hockey team for several years. After his family, Ian’s greatest love is the Toronto Maples Leafs.

As the senior benefit advisor, Mike advises our clients on the group benefit plans that best fit their organization’s needs. Priding himself on delivering a high standard of service, he is instrumental in making sure our clients’ costs are minimized so they can enjoy long-term sustainability of their group plans.

Beyond his career, Mike and his wife are the proud parents of two great children who keep them very busy.

Vanessa joined The Integratis Group in 2003 as a Group Service & Implementation Specialist.  Over her many years with The Integratis Group, she has also served as a Group Benefits Analyst, Consultant, and currently as a Group Benefits Advisor.  Vanessa is dedicated to client service and truly values the many strong relationships she has built with our clientele over the years. 

With over 20 years in the group benefits industry, she is dedicated to the implementation of appropriate funding strategies, plan design and policies that allow for long-term, sustainable savings.  Her goal is to support plan sponsors in providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to their valued staff.

Vanessa and her husband Dan are proud parents to four young children - which includes a set of identical twins! She is usually found in the company of her large extended family or lifelong friends.  In her more quite moments, Vanessa can be found reading, writing, or trying her hand at anything creative.

Jackie joined the insurance industry and specifically The Integratis Group in 1997. 

In 1998 she took on the role of Executive Assistant to Ian Brown which also consisted of working in the Individual Division comprising of disability and life insurance.  In 2002 she obtained her life insurance license.

In 2004 she added to her role as Coordinator and Director of Operations.  This comprises of training, assisting staff members and the day to day operations of the organization.  As Ian and Jackie have worked together for almost 25 years, she likes and tries to keep Ian on his toes.  She enjoys assisting clients with life and disability needs and believes and initiates all clients should receive superior customer service from the firm.  

Jackie and her husband Tom live in Listowel.  They have two beautiful daughters whom are married with each having 2 sons.  Along with four grandsons, Jackie keeps busy with her hobbies of decorating, renovating and gardening.

As Group Benefits Manager, Tina is our main contact for Plan Administrators, ensuring their customer service expectations are exceeded. Tina is our liaison with Insurance Companies, always working on behalf of our customers. Tina is here to be our customer’s voice in both day to day activities and when navigating complex situations.   

Outside of work Tina and her husband are true Toronto Blue Jays fans.

Laura is an Administrative Assistant at The Integratis Group Kitchener office. Not only handling the day-to-day office administrative duties, Laura is responsible for making the office run smoothly by ensuring the office has the necessary supplies and equipment needed, frequently answering general office phone calls and handling the renewal processes of advisor licensing.

Laura also helps the individual side with client policy details and changes. As well, assists in the productions of insurance summaries and presentations for client meetings.  

Before joining The Integratis Group in 2016, Laura worked as an Administrative Assistant in the energy consulting sector at VIP Energy Services Inc., where she supported a team of energy conservation analysts.

Away from the office, Laura loves spending her spare time with her husband and two young daughters.

Brittany provides key administrative support to the Individual Division, by coordinating the underwriting of new Life, Disability and Critical Illness insurance policies.

Working closely with the advisors at The Integratis Group, Brittany’s main responsibility is to ensure that the underwriting of each insurance application proceeds as quickly, and as smoothly, as possible.

Great customer service is at the core of Brittany’s beliefs, as she’s been working within the Sales industry since 2010.

When not in the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and German Sheppard puppy, as well as travelling to new destinations whenever possible.

Anna’s prior job titles include group benefits support administrator, employee benefits administrative coordinator, employee benefits specialist and group benefits analyst. Joining The Integratis Group in 2015, she brings over 15 years of experience in the group benefits industry to our firm.

Currently, Anna serves in our group department where she is responsible for group renewals, quarterlies and reviews. Additionally, she supports our group manager, Tina Kolpean, with her primary job duties. 

Anna’s current role involves providing travel insurance quotes and issuing policies through Blue Cross. A mom of two boys, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading the latest book on her shelf.

Paige is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College where she studied Human Resources. Her background in Human Resources lead her to the Integratis Group in 2013 where she began providing assistance within the Group Benefits division.

Currently she works as Individual Service Coordinator assisting individual clients throughout the underwriting process of their insurance policies, as well as on-going continuous customer service. Her attention to detail and passion for providing clients with high quality customer service coincide with the core values of The Integratis Group.

Away from the office, Paige and her husband Zach keep busy raising their two young sons.
